In Addition, A portfolio of materials from EDUC 309 (Principles of Secondary Education), EDUC 398 (Special Methods of Teaching) and/ or GNSC 312 (History and Philosophy of Science Through Newton) for review by science and teacher education faculty.

In addition to science courses, all secondary science education majors with and area of concentration in physics are required to take examination for each area of certification through the Cerification Examination for Oklahoma Educators program.

The above requirements are in addition to the Unified Studies Core courses and Degree Core Courses for a B.S. in Education.
